Coating Systems:
Primer Coats:
This product is recommended for use over Anchor LoVoc primer #B-7911 or Low Haps versions #CC-655 and #CC-658. This product is designed to be applied over barrier type primers or intermediate coats. When this is not possible, the coating can be applied directly to clean metal making sure a maximum millage of 2.0 mils dry per coat is applied. Each service environment may require a specific coating system or combination of Anchor products. Consult your Anchor representative for specific job recommendations.

Surface Preparation:
For maximum performance, the recommended substrate should be blasted in accordance with SSPC-SP6 commercial blast. If blast cleaning is not feasible, the substrate should be degreased in accordance with SSPC-SP1. All burrs should be removed and sharp edges or rough weld seams should be ground down. Where weathered steel is applicable and where substrate has reached rust grade, the appropriate chemical cleaning or blasting will be necessary.

Surface Temperature:
Minimum 40 F Maximum 110 F
The surface should be dry and the relative humidity should be less than 85%.
Application Equipment:
Airless Spray
Pressure: 1200-2200 psi.
Tip: .011"- .015"
Conventional Spray
Air Pressure: 60-80 psi
Fluid Pressure: 10-20 psi
Cleanup: Use Anchor #T-50M
Application Considerations:
This material dries very fast. This coating will build much faster than conventional enamels such as Quick Touch. Use caution when applying to avoid excessive film build. Start with a .013" tip orifice and pressures that allow for wet coat without dusting or blow-out. Adjust tip and pressure settings as necessary. Where air quality regulations allow, thin only if necessary up to 15% or until material atomizes at the tip. Apply in wet coats to avoid dusting. When spraying, use a cross-hatch method, overlapping each pass 50%. Clean spray system thoroughly before and after each use. On a derusted surface, the application of a dry film of at least 2.0 mils is recommended.
