General Description:
A very fast drying aluminum coating.
Common Usage:
Interior structures or parts requiring a maintenance coating.

Coating Systems:
Primer Coats:
Use Anchor #B-7911 Fast Dry Primer or direct to metal. Consult your Anchor representative for specific job recommendations.
 
Surface Preparation:
Remove all rust, dirt, grease, oil, or other contaminants in accordance with SSPC-SP1. Loose or failing paint should be removed by a light blast or power tool cleaning. Secured existing paint should be checked for compatability by applying the coating in a small area, allowing to cure, and cutting the coating to check for lifting and adhesion between coats.

Recommended Thickness: 1.6-2.0 mils dry per coat.

Mixing: Stir thoroughly, making sure no pigment remains on the bottom of the can.
Surface Temperature:

The surface should be dry and the relative humidity should be less than 85%.
Application Equipment:
Airless Spray
Pressure: 1200-2200 psi
Tip: .011"-.015"
Conventional Spray
Air Pressure: 40-70 psi
Fluid Pressure: 10-20 psi.
Cleanup: Use Anchor #J-1131 synthetic thinner.
Application Considerations:
Spray application only. In extra warm temperatures, avoid dusting by applicating in full wet coats. On rusting areas, spot prime and build finish to a minimum of 2 mils dry.
